Support Pedatric Cancer awareness month

Corky's Homestyle Kitchen & Bakery has once again partnered with Loma Linda University Children's Hospital to raise money in honor of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month with their Corky's Cookies for Cancer fundraiser. Corky's will donate $1 for every gold ribbon cookie sold and 25 cents for all other cookies sold in the month of September.

In addition, Corky's Homestyle Kitchen & Bakery also will be hosting Art for Cancer. Children are invited to any Corky's location to color a picture that will be delivered to young patients at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital. These pictures and words of kindness help brighten the children's day and let's them know that people are rooting for them on their journey towards recovery.

"We are excited to host our 9th year of our Corky's Cookies for Cancer fundraiser benefiting Loma Linda University Children's Hospital," said Jennifer Towles, of Corky's Homestyle Kitchen & Bakery. "We invite everyone to join us at Corky's and help raise funds that will directly benefit the children battling cancer and help bring smiles to their faces through artistic expression."

With the help of the Corky's community over the last eight years of running this fundraiser, Corky's has donated over $152,000 through their cookie sales. In addition, they have delivered thousands of pictures with messages of hope and encouragement that are put on display for the children in the hospital. In 2023, the Corky's team set a new annual record, raising $31,739.53. They hope to continue their record setting trend again this year and has set their fundraising goal at $35,000.
